Information and purposes

To suggest a shopping currency, your browser may request an approximate country from GeoJS using your IP address. Clarity does not store that IP address or your precise location for currency selection. If the lookup is unavailable, we use your device's region or timezone. Your chosen currency takes precedence over the location default.

Clarity collects contact and account details, order and payment references, project information, uploaded files and necessary service usage information to provide requested services, maintain records and protect the service. Stripe handles card details. New checklist planning intakes, when available, will ask for city or postal FSA only, not a full street address.

Marketing requires express consent. Optional analytics and advertising are off by default. Attribution information, when enabled, will connect a referring link to an order; advertising uses require separate consent.

Service providers and international processing

Current infrastructure includes Stripe for payments, Clerk for accounts and Replit/Google Cloud for hosting. Providers may process information outside your province or country, where it may be subject to local law. Access is limited to the purposes for which providers are engaged.

No new-store email provider, mail vendor, advertising integration or AI plan provider is enabled. If Anthropic plan generation is introduced, only structured intake fields will be sent, not names or emails. Provider changes will be reflected in this policy before activation.

Safeguards and retention

Access controls restrict private project and account information. Information is retained only as needed to provide services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security. Applicable retention periods and deletion procedures must be confirmed before new-store launch.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction or deletion and withdraw optional consent, subject to legal retention obligations. Applicable rights under PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25 and US state privacy laws are respected. Clarity does not sell personal information. You will not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

Privacy Officer: Clarity's owner. Contact: support@claritychecklists.com. A dedicated request form is not yet available; use your existing engagement contact. Identity verification may be required. Report suspected privacy incidents to that contact. Where required, affected people and regulators will be notified of a breach.

Municipal permit information

Clarity uses municipal open-data permit records for internal business research. New automated outreach is not enabled. Before any printed-mail program begins, source licences, privacy grounds and an operational opt-out process must be reviewed. No individual permit records or addresses are published on these public pages.
